The Sandman : Endless Nights
One of the fifteen portraits of despair from the graphic novel series "The Sandman".This ones taken from the first volume called "Endless nights".The fifteen portraits are not "complete" stories, they are more of "picture stories"....each portrait paints us a different aspect of despair. The "portraits" themselves are pretty weird....abstract...you could say....but when you combine them with the words (passages or poems or just random phrases)...they paint a perfect picture.Portrait 3 stood out to me immediately,it's simplicity is what makes it beautiful, so despondent.Just four simple lines and this guy nailed it!I love it !!
